"Numerology wards Dec 2018"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

I recently took myself to A and E as an out patient and was admitted with a high grade tumout. From start to finish my treatment was exemplary.

I can not fault the speed at which I received 2 brain scans, 3 mri’s and then 2 ops. ( a biopsy and then a ful operation for removal).

I stayed on 3 wards (D8, 10 and 11 , (also nspu) and can’t speak highly enough of the care.

A t all times I was treated wth compassion, dignity and respect. One particular consultant and his team have been absolutely amazing.

As have all the nursing staff. The response to urgent treatment could not have been better.

I am still amazed at how such a busy hospital witi scanning departments that have to run 24 hours to fit in scheduled appts also copes with emergencies and unplanned unplanned scans.

I will always be eternally grateful for the costly and high quality care I was given, and whatever the outcome, the QMCand this consultant and his treamhave given me the best possible chance.

Thank you so much.

Never will I hear a bad word about waiting times or treatments without setting the record straight from my viewpoint.

Oh, and for a hospital, catering on mass for numerous diets , the food wasn’t too bad either! There was choice and the meals were usually hot and tasty. Thank you.

It’s lovely to receive feedback like this. Thank you so much for taking the time to post it. I’m pleased you experienced great care across all the wards you were on (and enjoyed the food). I’ve shared your kind words with my colleagues on Wards D8, D10 and D11. Best wishes from us all.
