"Seaton Medical Centre"

I have moved to this practice after nearly 25 years at a practice in Surrey. In every single respect, this surgery is different. The reception staff could not be more friendly, helpful and efficient. At my GP appointment today (which started at exactly the time I was booked in for), I experienced 25 minutes of appointment time with the most delightful GP who listened with interest, was sympathetic and who genuinely wanted to help. In Surrey I was used to being rushed through a five-minute appointment that I ordinarily had to wait at least half an hour past the allocated slot for. I'm sure that actually the staff in Surrey are nice, caring people too. They are, however, spectacularly over stretched and worn out, and unfortunately, the knock-on effect is that patients are made to feel like they are a nuisance. Here in Seaton is the finest example of a medical practice working as it should and caring for its patients. I am delighted to be a patient here.
