"Laindon Ward and SRU Unit"

I have just been in the Laindon Ward for 5 days and the SRU for a minor operation over nite and feel I have to say how hard working and dedicated the night and day staff were.They could not have been more responsive and caring under very difficult and trying conditions.Some patients could be quite abusive and if it was a bank or shop they would be asked to leave but the staff always stayed calm while treating and caring for there health.I take my hat off to them and truly thank them for getting me better again..Special thanks to the doctor on Laindon Ward who identified what was making me ill,coming up with a plan which he explained to me in full and at every stage came and advised what was going on.Most impressive and professional.These people deserve all the accolades going and anybody who complains about our NHS should spend a day with them to watch and realise how dedicated they are......A Big Thank You....Steve Webb
