My son had an appointment a few years ago as he was really suffering with his feet. He was given a support to wear In His shoes and we were told he would have a follow up appointment but this never happened. So a few years passed and the problem became worse so our gp referred us again to the podiatry department at the beckenham beacon where we were seen previously. We had a consultation and again he was given an aid to wear in his shoes and we were told he wanted to see him in 4-6 weeks (6 weeks would of been 12/2018) but I never heard a thing! I did go into the department at the beacon to enquiry and the lady at the podiatry check in desk looked at my sons notes told me that he has been requested to be seen in 4-6 weeks and she sent the podiatrists an e-mail while I was there but still no response! My son is 12 years old and this is having a big impact on his life he sometimes suffers with pain in other areas because of his feet. I feel this is totally unacceptable letting my son down again with check ups and treatment. We should treat others as we would like to be treated!
