My son who is 3 months old had to have a scan on his right kidney due to it being slightly enlarged throughout my pregnancy. All the staff that carried his scan out have been amazing and have gone above and beyond to ensure both me and my son were comfortable and the experience was as easy as possible. All staff were, friendly, professional, and made me fully aware of the process and also were very supportive whilst the scan was going ahead.

Couldn't thank the team enough for the care me and my son have received

Dear Elmslie1993

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience when your 3 month old son had need to attend one of our x-ray departments to have a scan on his right kidney. My name is Michaela and part of my role as Patient Experience Coordinator is to review feedback we receive and share with the relevant staff within our Trust.

I am pleased to learn that all staff were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure that both you and your son were comfortable making the experience as easy as possible. It is wonderful that you felt supported throughout the process especially at what I imagine was quite an anxious time for you.

I will of course be sharing your lovely feedback and praise with the team who would have been responsible for your son's care as I know they will be equally delighted to receive it.

Thank you again and I hope that all is well with your son and he has received positive results.

With kind regards

Michaela Brewer, Patient Experience Coordinator.
