"I have no objections regarding my protracted stay in either hospital.."

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital University Hospital Hairmyres / Acute Stroke Unit (Ward 6) University Hospital Hairmyres / General Medicine (Wards 9-12) University Hospital Hairmyres / Pre Operative Assessment

(as the patient),

To be honest, two weeks were spent in the Golden Jubilee National Hospital having two operations, and my first week in the Stroke Unit on Ward 7, Hairmyes Hospital, but the bulk of my in-patient stay was on Ward 9.

I have no objections whatsoever regarding my protracted stay in either hospital, but I feel I need to commend, very highly, the care I received from Dr. Carrick, Consultant Cardiologist; Dr. Wright, Consultant Cardiologist at the Golden Jubilee; Dr. Malo, Dr. Arnish, and Dr. Lynn, all ward doctors on ward 9; and all the lovely, caring nurses, dinner ladies, cleaners, bed makers, porters, and ambulance staff and paramedics.

Having severe septicaemia, and fully aware of the possible scenarios, I was a bag of nerves, but the staff were excellent at keeping my spirits up.

Thank you all.
