My Das had a stroke 2 days ago. I am absolutely overwhelmed by the level of care that he received from the paramedics and the Consultant, Drs and nursing staff on the stoke unit.
The stroke team were there ready to meet my Dad on his arrival at the hospital, due to the quick response of the paramedics.
Within an hour of him being found by my Mum, he had been taken to hospital . scanned and treated.
The communication from the consultant was just amazing, he talked with us at every step, letting us know what was happening. He even showed and explained the scan images to us.in the midst of the madness.
I would like to commend all involved for the amazing treatment and care that was provided to my Dad.
We are very lucky to have the NHS and the skilled staff that they provide to treat us. Lets start reporting the good work that they do, instead of complaining. I think these people are amazing.
