"Misleading department names"

About: Victoria Hospital / Therapies & Rehab

(as the patient),

I recently was told I would need to attend the physiotherapy department at Victoria Hospital. Having visited the physiotherapy department a few years ago I made my way there but was left confused as there were no signs for the physiotherapy department. I just thought it had been moved. I went to the reception in what was called the physiotherapy department only to find I was in the right area but it had a change of name. It is now called rehabilitation. So now people attending for physiotherapy (physio) are classed similar those in rehabilitation (rehab) as if the need for physio is an addiction? I know what would be thought if I was to tell friend and family I was attending rehab. I believe NHS Fife did not fully consider the consequences of renaming departments.
