Rang A&E twice to find out on progress of my husband.
Was told the first time that he was in with the consultant and the second that he was having a blood test.
Since he had his mobile turned off the receptionist offered to pass on a message to ask him to contact me so that I was aware of when to collect him.
Absolutely delighted by her proactive approach and also by the courtesy of the switchboard operator (a man) who made the contacting process much less stressful than it might have been.
The receptionist rang me back to update me.
I am very grateful.
Of course I wasn't at the hospital but have filled in where my husband was.
