I am writing to thank you for the excellent care that my Dad and I have received from Dr Mougey from the Wandsworth Older People’s Services. 

Last year, my father was hospitalised with delirium and suspected underlying dementia and was subsequently referred to the memory clinic for assessment. Dr Mougey came to see my Dad at home, made him feel at ease and carried out all the memory assessments in Polish (his native language). Dr Mougey was extremely caring and supportive in trying to get the best social care package for my Dad and respite for myself as his main carer. Even though her advice was not always followed by Merton Social Services, Dr Mougey’s continued support meant a lot to us as a family at a very difficult time. 

My Dad is now in a nursing home and is doing well. Dr Mougey has kept in touch and has helped us tremendously with my Dad’s move into residential care. We really appreciate her empathy and her caring approach.
