My husband was admitted to Ward 7 at Dr Grays in late November 2018, with vascular dementia and end-stage heart failure. He was well looked after with incredible care and attention at all times. It made the family feel comforted to know that he was in good hands, although the diagnosis was not so good. Every time we visited, the team in Ward 7 were always able to spend time with us and explain any changes which had occurred since the last visit.
When he died, the staff were full of compassion and care for the family, and could not have been more helpful in what was clearly a very sad time for the family as well as themselves, having seen the changes in his condition.
We would like to thank everyone involved in his care for their efforts and assistance whilst he was in their Ward, and in particular Dr Henderson and Dr Poulton who spent considerable time with us.
"Excellent care and service"
