About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine Turriff Hospital / Minor Injuries

(as the patient),

I was transferred from Turriff to ARI A& E and then onto the urology ward in the pink zone recently for tests and scan after a fall.   The care I received from the nurses and doctors was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble.   Sadly one hears so much negativity about the NHS but in my experience I have nothing but praise for the doctors, nurses and ambulance team who deliver such exceptional care.   I always thought it was a privilege to get old but according to the media we are a burden! 😰

I am so pleased I was able to thank the A&E and Urology ward for their kindness to me last Thursday and Friday. Sadly the media focus only the negative things that go wrong and seldom report on the wonderful care we as patients receive from the NHS no matter of our age or circumstances!! Thank you Fiona for replying to my post. I wish everyone at ARI the very best for 2019.
