Second time this year my daughter has found herself in hospital for an extended period of time requiring treatment for Crohn's disease. On the first occasion (at the start of this year) as a result of a prolonged flare up her condition had become fairly critical. Thankfully doctor Mulholland was on hand, she is the embodiment of everything you would like to think a health care professional should be and her involvement we believe was instrumental in my daughter's recovery.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of Crohn's my daughter found herself back in hospital at the year end. Dr Mulholland was once again on hand with the attitude that something's wrong, therefore it needs fixing and so it gets done - quality. This time round my daughter was also under the care of doctor Saldanha and doctor Riddle whom we were also impressed, attentive and informative, you simply felt confident that they were on top of matters. In point of fact the whole medical staff have been exemplary. We have had our fare share of frustration on our medical travels but our experience on both occasions at Hairmyres this year have been such a relief, so reassuring that there still are good people around.
Thank you.
