About: NHS Yeovil Health Centre

I have been registered to Yeovil Health Centre for years. Most of the time I was happy with a care and service I received. Today I called the centre to make an appointment and I was dissapointed. A lady who answered the phone was unkind and confused me a lot. I have never had before any issues due to my English language, I could always easily talk through a phone and make an appointment. This morning I felt unconfortable. I am aware that there is always a queue on phone line and I wanted to explain my point in 2 quick sentences and give my my son's date of birth (it has worked so far easily) ,but I was interrupted so many times (f.ex. if a lady didn't understand DOB I said I tried to repeat clearly with an individual number like 2 and 4 instead 24th). I wasn't asked to repeat ,I was interrupted again and again and strongly advised with irritated tone of voice to do this. I tried to explain that there are 3 health issues ,which altogether worrying me,but she was pushing me to say loudly "what is the first reason?" There isn't just one reason (even though it may be just a cold), my son is unwell again and I can or cannot make an appointment. That's all.

THE POINT IS THAT THIS PHONE CALL COULD TAKE TWO MINUTS INSTEAD OF REPEATING SENTENCES FROM RECEPTIONIST AND MY SIDE. That lady was clearly frustrated and irritated while she was talking to me. I'm sure the calls are recorded, so it's possible to check it.

I am going to attend the Yeovil Health Centre, I respect the surgery, but a service this morning was unacceptable. Anna
