About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

Had an endoscopy procedure last week.  Excellent receptionist when asking for directions relevant department and again at ambulatory care. Longish delay before procedure.  Excellent, efficient, caring and friendly personnel.  Procedure fully described and choice of sedation or throat anaesthetic spray, which I had.  Procedure uncomfortable but no worse.  Full information throughout and with result.

Only downside was delay, but department obviously busy.

I would like to apologise for any delay prior to your test, at times this unfortunately cannot be prevented. The department can be very busy and although we try to ensure lists run to time, on occasions delays can occur.

Your feedback will be shared within the team.
