"Ability to make contact"

About: Princess Margaret Hospital

My Daughter saw a consultant 2 weeks ago and was told surgery would be the way forward with January being discussed.

We or our GP are yet to have any correspondence and when we call we get as far as the main switchboard, which is there to serve the Private Hospital entity, who then direct us to to NHS Outpatient switchboard. 8 times i have called over 3 days and every time we get a voice message saying to leave a message for a return call. Having done this 3 times, it seems the facility is clearly not being properly used.

How are we to get further information of the up coming treatment?

It pains me to write this mail as a champion of the NHS but 18 Hours sat in A&E at Reading trying to manage my daughters pain and then being sent home because they do not want to interfere with planned surgery is not a comfort at all and we have exhausted all other avenues with the exception of driving to the hospital and asking over the counter.
