"Bad experience with the same GP"

About: Pilning Surgery

I have visited the surgery twice in the last month which is not something I often do at all. I was experiencing headline on one side and was concerned. The doctor prescribed migraine and blood pressure meds and suggested it may be shingles and that a rash may appear on the left side of my face. The pharmacy phoned halfway the week to find out how I was getting on with the meds. Towards the end of my script I rang the surgery to find out whether I needed a new script or a review, as the doctor did not advise me. The receptionist suggested that I could call into the surgery to complete a form for a new script and I asked if I could order three months and she said no. I had been monitoring my blood pressure which seemed to be ok - so I didn't request further meds. In 3 Dec I visited the same GP as I had severe pain in the left side of my tummy area and the doctor examined me and asked me for a urine sample. The doctor advised I had a duplex kidney which I was not aware of and prescribed antibiotics. The doctor advised that there was blood in my urine and she would send to the lab and I should phone on Thursday for the results. I phoned today, only to be informed that the sample was rejected by the hospital as it was sent without a form and wasn't refrigerated. I am furious as still in pain. I am totally dissatisfied with this doctor's professionalism to me as a patient. I will be changing surgeries
