I have been an outpatient of ENT for nearly 5 years. The Consultant and the Team have always ensured that I have been involved in every decision of my care. Offering continuous support and advice at all times. At one point I was given the wrong appointment. I should have attended an appointment with the Speech and Language Therapist present the Consultant apologised for the mix up and told me when I would receive the next appropriate appointment.
I have now been discharged after a procedure that has gone really well and I can't thank the Consultant and the Team enough. I would recommend this service totally. The only thing is that sometimes there is a wait and overrun of sessions but sometimes this can not be helped. I witnessed a few people get cross in my time and all I can suggest is that receptionist say appointments are running late or have it displayed on a board or screen.
