"Ward A6"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital / General surgery

All staff on the ward who interacted with me this time were exemplary, and one was outstanding. However, there has been inappropriate behaviour on several occasions in the past. Both the head doctor, and the Patient Liaison and Support Team (reference P183551) are partly aware of the situation, but not how bad it has been, and it seems unlikely that anything will now happen. Overall, a very mediocre experience.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very happy to hear that the care you received on your last admission was exemplary although we are very sorry to hear of your previous experience at Wythenshawe hospital. Please accept our apologies that you have felt you have received inappropriate behaviour on several occasions in the past. This is not the standard we expect from our staff.

If you would like to provide more information quoting reference PO18/0213 to our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 0161 276 8686 or via email at pals@mft.nhs.uk about the inappropriate behaviours we will look into this matter further and see if there are actions we can put in place to address this more satisfactorily.
