"My mothers care"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

my mother recently had a fall and hurt her leg 

we arrived at Hairmyres A&E department and were booked in by a lovely receptionist 

we were took to triage and seen my a nurse Leah who was lovely after that we had to wait in the waiting area to be taken to minor injury's where my mum was assessed 

she was seen by nurse Scott who thought she needed an x-ray this was done and we had the results quickly she did not break anything but would need to walk with crutches for a while 

all in all we were booked in triaged assessed, treated and discharged in under 2 hours

I apreciate how hard the staff work and all the hard work and effort they put in and sometimes under extreemly dificult circumstances.

It it always delightful when you see staff who genuinely care and show great compassion to patients its a rare thing these days but you should be proud of them all i can only hope that the rest of the team are like the staff we encountered
