"Waiting times for MRI results"

About: Salford Royal / General medicine

(as a service user),

I came to Salford Royal in August 2018 for an MRI on suspected low grade tumour and now nearly at the end of November have still not received any results. On every occasion before for this I have had the results within a 3 week period.

We are so sorry to hear about your experience with your appointment results. We are disappointed as your experience does not reflect our Trust values, where we pride ourselves on our professionalism and communication skills.

To allow us to investigate this further, can I ask that you contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), on 0161 206 2003 or email them directly on pals@srft.nhs.uk with further details of your scan, so we can give you some answers.

It says to contact on the number above but every time i phone there is an automated response saying no one is available to take the call and no point in leaving a message as i am at work and not allowed private phone calls.
