I usually see a nurse practitioner and much prefer them to the doctors. I have repeat prescriptions and a long term condition diagnosed swiftly following referral from this practice. I called today and got a non-urgent appointment for two days time, which seems really reasonable. There is one GP who seems a little dismissive, but I just try to avoid! Generally though I find this surgery fine and haven't experienced any of the problems mentioned in other reviews. I may have just been lucky, but as I have to go fairly frequently this seems unlikely. So either I just have really low expectations or the other reviewers have been really unlucky in their dealings with HD surgery. Either way - in the interests of balance, I think they do a good job and the receptionists and nurse practitioners are particularly good.
