What I liked
nursing care was for the most fine.
What could be improved
better looking after of the personal hygiene of elderly disabled longer stay patients e.g. washing their hair, bathing, cleaning their dentures and making sure that their dentures are not soaking in a denture tub of old stinking water. dealing with nurses that are vindictive (they have their ways) if a complaint is made and ones that refuse to make a drink during the night when asked by an elderly person.
Anything else?
Disgusted at the dishonest and unproffesional assessments that are made by senior nursing staff so that they can discharge elderly patients and thus deprive them of their legal entitlement to NHS continuing care. Under the instructions of the PCT? Certainly against the professional guidelines of the Royal College of Nursing.
"dishonest assessments made on the elderly so that..."
