"Chesterman 2 & angiography"

I've been a day patient on Chesterman 2 today -- on a 'treat and return' basis from Barnsley Hospital-- for an angiogram.

And what an outstanding department I've found it to be.

The Staff Nurse has taken care of me, and it's for people like her that phrases such as 'dedicated angel' were created. She's incredibly efficient, competent, compassionate and caring. And all this on a double shift!

However everyone today has been great; from support staff to everybody on the angiography suite, including the doctors who carried out the procedure.

I had heart surgery in this hospital last year, and that too was an exceptionally positive experience.
