This service works when you engage and take accountability and responsibility for actioning the support.

You can do this due to positive, empowering counsellors, like Shane.

The services are tailored to you as an individual.

They know you well and are talented in balancing what you want to say with how the conversation needs to go to move forward.

My counsellor supported me to go outside my comfort zone.

My counsellor challenged me with new ideas.

My counsellor didn't do it for me, but gave me the tools I needed to take charge for myself.

I am empowered.

I am in control.

(I'm just just sad  there's a 25 month waiting list. This is why people end up on medication!)

Dear apusjw97. Thank you so much for providing us with your feedback. It sounds as though you had a positive experience of therapy, and that you have learnt strategies for dealing with your difficulties.

In terms of the waiting list, we have been working hard on reducing this, and patients are now only waiting for a maximum of 42 days before their first therapy appointment.
