The check in was easy, it has a pleasant waiting room that has a prominent you said we did board. The appointment was reasonably punctual. I am a new patient and the male Consultant introduced himself, treated me as an individual. He sought from me what was wrong and discussed various treatment options. He provided written information to take home as well as discussing the benefits and risks of the various options.
I was treated as a partner in my health and was given options to choose from. I have been told I will need tests and have been given a script for pharmacy.
Checking out of clinic I was told about the staff shortages. The receptionists seemed under a lot of pressure.
Nobody invited me to complete an fft survey but I was encouraged to see the postcards on the desk along with a pen and by seeing the you said we did board.
Pharmacy was clean, bright and well presented. The wait was longer than I had expected and there was no way for the electronic order to be sent to my Islington pharmacy (that my GP uses on EMis) that was a pity for someone living in Islington but working 45mins away. I had no option but to wait. My advice is to allow a good 45 minutes for pharmacy.
The queuing notification system is very good but nobody told me I could wait in the canteen and see when the prescription is ready- I wish they had. I was very thirsty.
The young trim man who was barista in Muffin Break has excellent customer service.
