"My blood test and update regarding a clo test"

About: Somerford Grove Practice

(as the patient),

I have been having pains in my stomach which I had been ignoring and then took some home remedies to deal with it. My daughter who had also been feeling unwell but also ignored it contacted the doctors at her college. who told her that she had something only found in london and prescribed her medication and said that the rest of the family need to be seen. Prior to that I had requested my medical records because I felt some thing was wrong from past experience. After some time. I was told that I had to see the doctor first before I could get my records I was told to take a blood test and a blood pressure test. I had to wait for 24hr blood pressure test. which I had a couple of weeks later.

I  got my medical records and noticed some discrepancies also that I had a CLO test taken around 2007/8. and that it said positive and as a result of my previous blood test there was some Shreeks! I contacted my doctor and told her what my daughter had said and the pains in my stomach and was asked about my  previous test. She was helpful left the request at the counter so didnt have to wait for an appointment. I went to the hospital and had the test done and was told that the results would be a couple of days.  I returned to the doctors to get my results they confirmed that they were in and that they would get the doctor to phone, me which I thought was good, Although I was busy through the day, I never received the phone call, So I returned to the surgery and asked whether my number was correct on the system. Which was confirmed that it was but for some reason this had miscommunication between the reception staff and the doctor. I was also told that the doctor wouldn't be in till four days later. And to book 48hr appt. would be the same day she returned, So I decided to book an appt to make sure I get the result.
