"Breast Cancer Surgery - Canterbury Day Surgery..."

I cannot thank the Doctors and Staff of Canterbury Hospital Day Surgery enough.

On Friday 19 0ctober

I went in for Breast Cancer Surgery accompanied by my partner. It was a long and scary wait. from 10AM to 6PM. I was nervous and scared but from the moment I arrived at the day Surgery Centre the nursing staff were kind, thoughtful, caring, reassuring and friendly. Thus making what would have been a nightmare-wait, very bearable. Towards the evening I became cold due to lower blood pressure from nil-per-mouth from the previous evening. The nursing staff brought me a heated blanket which warmed me up in no time.

The nurse, the Consultant and his team eventually got to me and again I am thankful to the theatre staff and nurses. I am sorry i do not know all the nursing staff names as I would love to give each and every one a personal THANK YOU! One in particular saw me through to the end. Thank you.
