Mother in law, 95, 2 weeks on ward 14, first rate treatment and exceptional levels of care, caring from all staff at all levels on the ward. She passed away due to heart failure, and her passing was calm, comfortable and dignified. We cannot speak too highly of the consistently excellent level of care shown. She was treated with respect, sensitivity, and a conscientious resolve to make her comfortable.
The consistency of care speaks volumes for the individual staff but also for the leadership of the ward who clearly set and maintain high standards, despite all the well known pressures re: budgets.
The end of life care was of the highest standard. As a family we were shown the same care and sensitivity , and we appreciate deeply the care shown to us as well as my mother in law.
"Excellent care in the outstanding ward 14"
