About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

I was very nervous and upset when I went in to day surgery. Due to the fact I was getting sterilised at 43 years old, 2.5 years ago I went through major surgery for Breast Cancer, the type of Cancer was hormone reactive, resulting in me unable to have children.

When the Nurses looking after me (Jacky and Helen) found out, they made me very relaxed and made the surgery and stay pleasant.

So thank you ladies of Day surgery recovery xxx

Thank you for taking the time to post feedback through Care Opinion, coming into hospital at any age can be quite daunting no matter what procedure, it is reassuring to see that both Jackie and Helen made you feel relaxed and made your stay pleasant.
