"Doctor not giving full patient attention"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Clinical haematology

(as the patient),

I came in to hematology and I was seen by a doctor who told me nothing and then got a call on their mobile answered it and placed it on his desk so who ever was o  the other end could hear everything being said which is wrong patient confidentiality out of the window and then felt like the doctor couldn't rush us out of the room quick enough so they could talk to who was on the other end of the call rushed us so much that the wrong name and address that I have not had for 8years now were placed on my blood form and prescription it was only with thanks to the receptionist that they got corrected the receptionist and blood nurse were more caring and helpful than what the doctor was

Dear Bling lady

I am really sorry to read about your experience when you attended a haematology clinic. This is not what we expect to happen to our patients and I wish to reassure you that I have raised this with the doctor's manager.

Regards

Dear Bling Lady

We are sorry to read your concerns, this has been brought to the attention of the haematology department at Lincoln for discussion at the next Clinical Governance meeting. However, if you would like us to investigate these further, please do not hesitate to contact our PALS department via pals@ulh.nhs.uk. The PALS team will be able to take some more details from you to pass to myself.

Regards

Vicky Medlock
