"excellent service overall but bad food."

What I liked

excellent care, treatment and overall excellent communication and understanding received from all levels of staff including cleaners, hco's and all nursing and auxillary staff. Cannot fault the service from the staff, however the food services and meals were terrible. food from the restuarant was brought in as ward food was unappealing, cold and tasteless. I was in several wards, intensive care, and high dependency for a total of 3 months. I cannot express my sincere thanks to everyone who was involved in my care. Thank you all, but please give alll staff a pay rise, and get rid of the food brought in from wales and reinstate the hospital kitchens.

What could be improved

all meals were brought in from outside caterers, and was terrible, lacked any taste, or goodness, and was consistently cold. I lost over 3 stones whilst in hospital for 3 months.

Anything else?

Give all staff a big payrise, over worked and underpaid. all worked extremely hard and were courteous and patient all of the time.
