My husband and I moved to Bishop's Cleeve in January, so we've been with the surgery for about a year. We have a 19 month old, so we tend to find ourselves in the surgery now and then. We've found that the doctors are responsive, effective and really listen to us as patients. Appreciate everyone's experience is different, but we really do like this family surgery. Not too long ago, I tripped over with my son and he bumped his head and I hurt my arm. The doctor tagged us onto the end of clinic and stayed behind to see us. Bear in mind, doctors have their own lives and families to go home to. We really appreciated that. As for the receptionists, just lovely. They were so kind. I felt terrible as a parent, but they were just so reassuring. In addition, our son has a few gastro issues and as soon as we asked for a private referral, we were given one. This yielded some quite game changing results. Again, we appreciated this. At a time when the NHS is struggling so badly, the doctors (and nurses and receptionists) here evidently do their utmost to avoid compromising care.
