I was referred to Holly Court for an autism spectrum assessment. By the third appointment, I was really starting to struggle with the assessment process.
I couldn't find anywhere to park on site, and was getting really stressed and upset. The staff tried to suggest alternative sites, but I don't know the local area, and didn't really feel up to driving around trying to find a legal place to park. I communicated this to the staff and walked off. I went back to ask them to apologise to the doctor I was meant to see, and they were having a good laugh about it.
When you're already stressed and feeling utterly miserable and hopeless, that doesn't exactly help.
