"Dreading my next appointment"

About: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I attended my first appointment today for migraines, an had a migraine already,   an was then asked to sit in a waiting room with loud music, bright lights, an the smell of food all of  the three worse things for migraine sufferers left feeling so ill. makes no sense why a clinic for this type of medical condition would be like  this, am actually dreading my next appointment.

We are grateful for you sharing your feedback with us, however, we are concerned to read about your experience.

We have shared your feedback with the relevant management team to look at ways we can improve the environment in our waiting area, particularly for patients with migraines. There is a quiet room in our outpatient department for patients while they are waiting and please let our staff know if you would like to use this room at any future appointments.

We are keen to discuss your experience with you in more detail. If you would like to do so, could you please contact our Patient Experience Team on 0151 556 3091/90 or by email to patientexperienceteam@thewaltoncentre.nhs.uk
