I have been to the hospital a number of times for services and always felt that it was lovely and accommodating and a great experience.
However, that is once you get past the Receptionist who seems to take delight in scowling and looking as if you are a complete inconvenience to her day and basically speaks to you like she is directing traffic!
There are no pleasantries at all just the attitude of not giving a damn and behaving as if you are a nasty smell under her nose.
Going into any hospital is never a great experience for a patient but to be treated in such as disparaging and demeaning manner actually had me in tears. This shouldn't be allowed and whilst I wasn't sure whether to say anything, after a member of staff said that she had also been spoken to like dirt and would be following up with her manager I felt encouraged to speak out as if no one says anything then nothing would ever be addressed.
"Lovely hospital but appalling Receptionist"
