What I liked
My daughter was rushed to A&E by ambulance as she had breathing difficulties. She has a chronic illness which means that being in a noisy hospital environment was always going to be very challenging for her and being in the "Resuss" section of the A&E department with its noisy monitors and bright lights was far from ideal. However, all the staff were absolutely lovely and did everything they could for her. Fortunately her condition was stabalised within a few hours and we were able to go home the same evening.
What could be improved
I would have welcomed a drinks machine. I guess there is probably one in the main A&E waiting area but as we were taken straight in by the ambulance staff, I never went there. Six hours is a long time without a cuppa. Also the toilets were a very long walk.
"Very Good"
