"Lucky for me that this is my local hospital"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

What I liked

I was very impressed by the improvement of the cleaning of Kings 2 , the ward I was in. I have been in this hospital many times, the standard has been lacking in the past and I have resorted to cleaning for myself but this time it was not necessary.

What could be improved

It took from 10a.m.until after 6p.m to leave the hospital. We were waiting for one blood test which was done 2 hours too late.

Anything else?

I am grateful to the staff of this hospital who initially saved my life in 2002 and have cared for me ever since

Doreen,

Thank you or your kind feedback, I am really pleased that you had a positive experience at the William Harvey Hospital. It’s good to read that you think our cleaning has improved; we are putting lots of effort into making sure our patients have a safe and clean environment to be looked after in. We are also working hard on improving our discharge arrangements, I am sorry to read that you had a delay in having your bloods taken – we are continuing to make improvements and will ensure your experience is used to help us learn. Thanks again for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, we really appreciate it.
