"Rescheduling a breast screening appointment"

For someone who works the hours I do (7: 30am to 6: 00pm) rescheduling a screening appointment at this particular unit is practically impossible. The phone line is only between 9: 30 and 3: 30 and they break for an hour at lunchtime. Where I work I'm not permitted to have my phone on me during working hours, when I have lunch the lines are closed. Unlike the myriad other breast care units connected to hospitals up and down the country that have very easy to find, easy to use, online services for rescheduling Milton Keynes Hospital either does not have one or makes it so hard to find that I was not able to locate it. I was trying to rearrange the appointment as it was going to land when I was out of the country. The lead up to my holiday was very stressful and in the end I was forced to call to rearrange while on holiday (costing a small fortune of a phone bill). Please join the 21st century and make things easier for yourselves and your patients.
