"Hydro sessions"

A member of staff works in the Hydrotherapy section of the Physiotherapy department at Bognor Memorial Hospital.

She should be put forward for the Staff Awards as the service she gives mainly elderly patients is second to none.

She ensures that all pool users are kept safe and that whatever the needs of patients are she deals with it whilst running the department at the same time.

This involves contacting pool users and booking them in for more sessions.

Answering calls and dealing with these enquiries.

Mopping the floor as it constantly gets wet.

Making sure that all equipment is useable and dealing with anything that is occasionally faulty.

She checks pool water to make sure it is of correct standard.

Deals with cuts and grazes users have so that they can use the pool without contaminating pool water and shower area.

At times it gets hectic in this department but this member of staff is always bright and cheerful.

She has a smile for everyone.

Wish I could find the section to nominate her for one of these awards but I can’t. There is a poster in hydro about them but staff on front desk didn’t know about them...M Jordan
