"Podiatric Surgery - Top Job!"

After recent surgery at Woodthorpe Hospital, I want to thank all the team for making my experience so straightforward and reassuring.

My consultant Dr. Stephen was excellent from the start and gave me the information I needed to make the decision to go ahead with the surgery on my foot. I felt confident he could improve my pain.

After a recent epilepsy diagnosis, I was naturally hesitant about the anesthesia and on the day of the op. Andy was great and asked me what I was worried about. After a chat,  I felt confident he would look after me and he did! 

It was all done and dusted with the minimum of fuss and I awoke to no pain and looked after by the lovely Chrissie who is an excellent nurse and showed great empathy.

Post op follow up was great. It was good to look at the before and after results of the X Rays with Dr Stephen. I've just got to do the rehab exercises now. Yes, there's pain but far less than I imagined. I was a liability on crutches however and got off them as soon as I could!

Please can you pass on this feedback as I notice individual team members don't reply to their feedback? Just a suggestion as many organisations do.

Maybe that could be done in future?
