"First visit to Crefield Road and it wasn’t good..."

well I have to say I was very disappointed with my visit to the Doctors.

I never go to the Doctors but had a need to seek medical help yesterday.

I called the Westbergholt Surgery to see if I could get an appoutment .

I didn’t know they didn’t do Doctors surgery anymore there .

Anyway the reception as always was very helpful and managed to get me an appointment in Creffield Road for 11.40.

I arrived at 11.15 and tried to sus out what to do.

A lady tidying up then told me I could use the self Service screen, when I told her I was fromBergholt I was told that wouldn’t work for me.

So I queued to see a receptionist.

Well what a delight she was, no sence of humour or customer service at all.

She was less than impressed that I couldn’t remember the name of the a doctor I was seeing

Still no need to be quite so nasty she was very lucky I didn’t bite as I would normally have challenged the behaviour.

I was told to go to a room

So I looked around and found some stairs all very different when you have never been before.

I walked to the seating area and sat down.

I then read a sign that said anyone waiting for a doctor in two rooms needed to sit in a particular place as the screens didn’t work and the doctor would call

So I sat I observed 3 patients go into room 3 then nothing so I sat and waited and waited and waited.

The doctor came out and went off for 15 mins.

Now she must have known I was sitting waiting it was now gone 12 so she was already 20 mins late. I would have expected her to at least have apologised .

But no

When she arrived back I asked her if she knew I was waiting and if she was going to call

She told me it would come up in the screen but she would call me.

Thinking I would be in pretty quickly after that, how ring I was.

2 members of staff then went in and out of her room.

So nearly 1 hour late she called me in.

Not the best Doctor I have ever seen with not a very good bed side manor.

I appreciate they are busy but then so are the rws5 of us.

This surgery needs to focus on the customer because that’s what we are. Like any other business without the customer you have no work.

Clearly these Doctors feel they are Gods and don’t have to behave in an appropriate manor.

Well let me tell you something, YES YOU DO.

you wouldn’t expect to go to TESCO to buy your shopping and wait for an hour to check out.

This needs addressed

I have also sent a formal complaint to the NHS complaints team
