What I liked
I do not like anything about this hospital because I had to ask for every treatment i was given and they had to give it reluctantly. The way the staff respond to me was not friendly at all. they were rude, unpatronising and spoke arrogantly. They showed a very uncaring attitude which I never experienced at St Thomas and Kings College hospitals. My first experience and impression about this hospital is not good to right home about. I was involved in a serious accident, the ambulance and police took me there and was discharged home within 3 hours with the niddle still in my vain and the name and allergy tags in my hand, bear footed and had to beg them for clothes to wear and was given the doctor's theatre green clothe to wear home, infact I was treated shabilly. I'm sure a dog can not be so treated. I told them I could not go home under that condition and that I was dizzy and was feeling sick, they ignored me and went about other things. a nurse came back later and asked me to go to toilet, before I was back, they gave my bed out and asked me to sit on the chair if I did not want to go home because my xray did not show any broken bone and it is their rule to send me home. I cried bitterly but no one could rescue me. My son and my friend were with me and they withnessed every action and every attitude of the staff and were very dissapointed, so they took me home in a taxi. I would have brought my complaint but I had been very sick going back and forth to St Thomas and my GP. I'm better now and am reporting it to the hospital management NHS. Date of incident was 31 October 2011 at about 20.00 and 2300 hours.
What could be improved
Allow the Watch Dog to go there as undercover and actually experience what am talking about. Actually fetch out these staff that are spoiling the image of nhs in that hospital and remove them because they are the bad eggs.
Anything else?
This matter needs to be investigated properly because this type of attitude should stop. If not for my family that were around they would have done worst things. I am taking it up with NHS management.
"I was treated shabilly without a caring or..."
