My local hospital had limited options to offer when I was diagnosed with having multiple tumors inside both kidneys. They referred me to Dr Wah at St James' University hospital at Leeds. She was brilliant and amazing. Her calm manner and clear expertise was most reassuring, and she has the time to ensure that I felt important and not just another statistic. The procedure went as planned, I was in for just one night and sent home with the largest tumor destroyed through this incredible procedure and with very little on the surface to show for it.
Since then I've returned for monitoring and it has been fantastic to find Dr Wah was available to see me straight after the MRI scan as I live some distance away from Leeds. This was unexpected and demonstrated wonderful care and thoughtfulness - thank you Dr Wah, to her colleagues, and all at Radiology at St James'.
