What I liked

The receptionists were very polite, as was the triage nurse.

What could be improved

The doctor I saw needs to learn to listen to what a patient is telling him, instead of drawing his own conclusion. He was very dismissive because he clearly hadn't understood the situation.

Anything else?

Waste of my time, I thought it would be more prudent to try the walk in centre than to fight for an appointment at the GP surgery. Obviously not. logo

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback on the service at the Hospital of St Cross. We are sorry that the experience you had at the walk-in centre did not meet your expectations. The walk-in centre is just for the treatment of a minor condition at the time and the staff will not know the patients previous medical history and cannot therefore give detailed care based on a patients long term health needs. We would always ask that patients make an appointment with their GP if possible as they will know the patients history and can give appropriate care.
