"An overnight stay in Creaton Ward"

I was admitted initially to A and E with chest pain by my GP. It was a busy time but I was dealt with by the Streaming nurse in a quick but caring manner. They moved me to Creaton ward which is where I stayed for 24 hours. Everyone involved from the catering staff to the cardiologist were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, during their 12 hour shift for most of them, they treated all patients with empathy. I saw first hand that their job is far from easy, dealing with minor issues to severe dementia patients. A male nurse ( didn't get his name) was particularly pleasant. He said he usually works in theatre but was 'doing the rounds' with a consultant. Proud of our NHS and what they do everyday
