What could be improved
I spent over an hour trying to get through on the phone - both via the main switchboard and to the appointments line. The only people that answered the phone (and these not quickly) were the main switchboard and they were very abrupt and unfriendly.
I did not get through and have now sent an email to the appointments department, having not originally known that I could do this. I hope I get a reply. If not I will have to go to the hospital just to get an appointment for the medical equipment that I use to be fixed. I expect that will mean 2 visits as well as this morning's abortive attempts. All because there is no-one to answer the phone.
In short, it would have been a huge improvement had someone answered the phone, who could deal with my enquiry, within 10 minutes or even within 30!!
