"Not fit for practice"

This medical centre is absolutely detrimental to my health, always end up in tears and extremely stressed each time I need to get in contact with them which is very rarely.

I normally don’t go unless I am desperate as I am left so frustrated and angry.

I have been trying on this occasion to get through on the phone to them since last Thursday - it is now the following Wednesday.

I have had enough so have just driven down there as I have an infection that cannot be left and was told they are now on lunch - it is 13.10 - and that I need to phone after 13.30. I explained that the lines are always engaged and I cannot get through and was advised if I just keep trying I will get through eventually! I explained I don’t have the luxury of sitting by a phone all day long as I work shifts and have other commitments.

I could not make an appointment whilst I was there so now have to phone at 13.30 onwards and sit and wait to see if I get through and if I can be seen - I would rather not pay contributions to the NHS through tax and go private and pay for myself - too many people now using NHS - worked all my life and hardly used the service but when I do i am left feeling like it is a poor service and would definitely vote to go private if we were given a choice but not paying for everyone else in NHS and private as well. Going to make the phone call now!
