What I liked
I was in A7 Ward for a number of tests (not just imaging services) for 3 days and met well over 30 people from student nurse to consultant, all obviously professional, kind and helpful. As I am deaf and not a very good lipreader, it was really important to me that staff would write things down to ensure I understood what they were saying and they all did.
The range and diversity of tests available
Explanatory notices on the walls, the PH service "Handbook for Patients", preliminary reports on discharge and Patient Held Record were all essential reading.
The hotel type menu and food — excellent.
What could be improved
Difficult to comment sensibly. But could we have cooled drinking water in ward (not the bays)?
Anything else?
