I rang my GP in a state, barely able to get the words out due to being so upset and distressed. The staff on the phone were kind and understanding, giving me the time I needed to get the words out without rushing me or making me feel like I was being silly. You could hear the compassion coming down through the phone line. Not only did they get me in to see the doctor that day, but they prepped him on what was wrong before I arrived so I didn't need to go through the agony of trying to say again what was wrong. It made me feel valued and cared for. I was put on treatment that day and the care I've received since has been exemplary. I'm so grateful.
